Oil-Free and Sugar-Free Peanut Dates Balls

Oil-Free and Sugar-Free Peanut Dates Balls
  • Sugar-free and oil-free
  • Easy to make and healthy vegan snack
  • A quick way to boost energy
  • Suitable for all age groups male and female
  • A good way to consume for breakfast or evening snacks as part of a diet plan

Ingredients:

  1. Roasted Peanuts — One cup (or 150 gms)
  2. Soft Medjool Dates — One cup (or 200 gms)
  3. Raw Cacao Powder — One and a half tablespoons (Tbsp)
  4. Cardamoms — Six

Procedure :

  • Add six Cardamoms into the stone grinder. Crush the Cardamoms so that you can peel off their skin and remove the seeds easily.

Grounded Cardamoms give awesome flavor to the energy balls.

  • Add one cup ( 150 grams) of roasted peanuts into the grinding jar. Add peeled cardamoms seeds to it.
  • Coarsely grind the roasted peanuts and cardamoms seeds into the grinder.

While pulsing the grinder, open the grinder lid after 2 pulsing rounds to check the coarseness of peanuts. After this, the final grinder pulsing would give the required quality.

  • After pulsing the peanuts three times in the grinder, put them in a separate bowl.
  • Take one cup ( 200 grams) of Medjool dates. Take out the seed of each Medjooldate and cut them into two parts. In this way place all the dates into a cup.

The softness of Medjool dates enables easy blending. Except for Medjool dates, no other sweetener is used in these energy balls. All other alternatives such as as cane sugar, coconut sugar, jaggery, or maple syrup are avoided.

  • Add these sliced dates into the grinder. Add one and a half tablespoons of raw Cacao powder. If you do not have Cacao powder then you can opt for Cocoa powder in unsweetened form.

  • Add about two tablespoons of coarsely ground peanuts to the same grinder.
  • Blend all of this mixture into the thin paste by pulsing the grinder for 1 to 2 minutes. You can check that the dates are well blended in the mixture by opening the grinder lid.
  • Now add this blended date mixture into the bowl where you have kept coarsely ground peanuts earlier. Mix this date and peanut mixture well with your hand to get good mixture consistency.
  • Mix this mixture well enough for about 3 to 4 minutes until you can combine it like a dough.

As the date mixture is blended in a high-speed grinder so you have to blend the date and peanut mixture with less effort by your hands. Also, you have to remember that we are not adding oil in any form in this mixture.

  • Take lemon size dough from the big mixture. Roll and press it with your hands till it forms the round shape of the ball.

Your sugar-free and oil-free energy ball is ready. You can make several such balls out of the mixture dough. This is a healthy and instant snack ready for consumption( ideally 2 balls are sufficient for a single person on the diet plan). This snack can also be included as part of a meal plan for a vegan.
